A calm operational layer for early childhood — built from inside the room.

01 · Why we exist

Humans are not machines. Children deserve presence.

Simply Safe Group was built from 18 years of lived experience — educator, foster carer, mother, educational leader — watching children, families and educators try to function inside systems that quietly overwhelm the adults around them.

We don't believe educators need another platform. We believe they need their attention back.

02 · The operational pain leaders already know

Paperwork over presence. Five systems. One frustrated educator.

Documentation has eaten observation

EYLF write-ups happen at nap time, in cars, after hours — not in the moment with children.

Allergies live on printed sheets

Behind the fridge, on the wall, in a folder. Casual educators can't find them when it matters.

Compliance is lived as anxiety

Practice is mapped to NQS the night before A&R, not woven into the daily rhythm.

Wellbeing is unmeasured

Workload, emotional load and burnout signals are invisible until a resignation lands.

What you see: signal, not noise. The director's day is decisions — not data entry.

05 · Privacy-first operations

Minimum necessary. Role-scoped. Never surveillance.

Role-based access

Educators see their room. Directors see their centre. Parents see their child. No more, no less.

No unnecessary child photos

We do not build engagement on children's faces. Observations are language-led, not image-led.

Immutable audit trail

Every approval, edit and access logged. Regulators see practice, not panic.

Ethics & child-safety council

Independent veto power over any feature that risks surveillance, harm, or commercial misuse of children's data.

06 · AI supports — never replaces

The educator is always the decision-maker.

08 · Founder story

Built by someone who has lived every role this system protects.

Leann is an early childhood educator, foster carer, mother and educational leader. She has spent 18 years inside rooms, families and systems — watching brilliant educators leave the sector not because they stopped loving children, but because the operational weight made presence impossible.

Simply Safe Group exists to give that weight back to a system designed for it — and to give the adults their attention, their evenings and their nervous systems back.

In her words

"Children don't need adults with more tabs open. They need adults who can be there."

Step 03
Evidence

Educator time returned, documentation quality, safety surfacing, wellbeing signals — measured weekly.

Founder-led onboarding for every pilot site.
Privacy & safeguarding council review before live use.
Co-designed with your educators — not imposed on them.
Clear exit at week 12. No lock-in. No data hostage.

If this resonates, the next step is a 20-minute call — not a sales pitch.

We talk to one operational leader at a time. We listen to your reality first. If a pilot fits, we shape it together.
